blueberry turmeric ginger smoothie

serves 1

INGREDIENTS

1/2 cup frozen blueberries

1 small banana, fresh or frozen

1/3 cup yogurt (I prefer plain, Greek for higher protein option but any kind works)

1 Tbsp chia seeds

dash of sea salt

1 Tbsp collagen powder or scoop protein powder

1/2 cup turmeric ginger tea (find recipe here); as another option, you can add small chunks of fresh turmeric and ginger (~1 Tbsp) and use water or milk in place of tea

STEPS

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Alternatively, combine ingredients in a quart jar and carefully blend using an immersion blender.
